The Triangle Math Teachers’ circle is dedicated to serving teachers and others throughout the triangle area in North carolina with joyful math experiences. Since 2017 we have been holding monthly meetings during the school year where teachers can fall in love with math again through problem solving and discovery in community.

NCCTM Mini-grant program
The mini-grant program provides funds for special projects and research, which will enhance the teaching, learning, and enjoyment of mathematics. There is no preconceived criterion for projects except that students should receive an on-going benefit from the grant.
In June 2026 they gave a grant to the Triangle Math Teachers’ Circlefor purchasing materials to support an additional Math Festival Kit for the Triangle area. They also provided a space at their Fall 2026 conference for a presentation about the kit and its uses.Thank you to teacher members of NCCTM and the organizers!

NCSU STEM Education Department
With a primary emphasis on improving schools and society, the department prepares quality educators for middle, secondary and post-secondary school science, technology, engineering, mathematics, graphic communications and informal settings They serve current and future teachers throughout the region.

The Original Kit
IMACS
IMACS, the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science, is an online program that has been offering classes to elementary, middle and high school students for 30+ years. Our goal is to help bright students reach their full potential by using a curriculum that focuses on logical thinking and analytical skills, and places students by ability and not age or grade.

Meredith University
The Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Meredith College provides students with a solid foundation for active participation in a society that is increasingly dependent upon technology. Our graduates are creative, capable, confident, and ethical in their mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Meredith provided the space so that teachers could gather to assemble the kits, not just once but three times. Many thanks to the math department for their beautiful space in the , as well as the black and white copies for the new kit.
